Career: Trusts and Estate Attorney, writer and editor for legal and tax publications.
Passion: As a counter-balance to the narrow focus of my legal work, I began studying classical piano shortly after I graduated from law school. One of my chief joys in retirement is being able to spend more time at the piano.

When I was a student at Vassar, I received financial aid without which it would not have been possible for me to attend Vassar, and I wanted to help provide similar opportunities for future students. And using my retirement accounts to make my future gift to Vassar appeals to me because, as an estate planner, I understood the tax advantages of doing so."
